    These tongs are not fit for purpose. The ends don't meet properly and don't grip. Almost any kind of food slips out if them. Gripping more tightly doesn't hep, as food flies out, rather the slips out. Additionally, plastic lugs, doubtless intended to hold the set together, are too long to allow individual tongs to be separated, from the set, with any ease. I threw mine in the bin, after attempting to use them.
