I used the camera with "WiFi check" app on a Huawei phone, worked fine and easy to use. The cable is semi rigid but it support itself vertical more than about 30cm/1'. You will need a fish tape or drain rods. I used the transmitter at least a metre away up the pipe and with a charged battery it was fine. You notice the distance reduces as the battery wears out. I have another usb endoscope with plugs directly into a computer/phone (different manufacturer) I tried it with the WiFi dongle, it did not work. Also the Draper camera did not work in a usb port. I assume the wiring is different in the usb, I did not investigate further. Negative points: Felt thin plastic, but took a battering and apart from a damaged plug it is still going. The usb sockets could fill with grot so I taped over them, you could put it in a bag. The led light is hard to adjust on the thumbwheel, it is a bit all or nothing, and the thumbwheel can be knocked if it goes in the hole too. I recommend to get it working at home before taking it to your job as you need to charge it, then it takes a few minutes to work out the software. Cost me £20, bought on special offer.Read full review

Does a reasonable job but the built in LED lights are not to bright and distance seen beyond the end of the probe is limited because of that. Images on the phone screen can also be a bit fuzzy. However, for the price this is a good bit of kit.

good little endoscope, Bit difficult to connect to my phone at first but I have now got used to it You also have to get used to seeing what is on the screen as the focus is limited. Not something I will use much, but definitely worth having.

Bought so i could look into a motorcycle fuel tank to asses how rusty it was it did a good job of it. A bit stiff in the wand handle requireing having to be bent to shape if going round corners, torch light on the end is adjustable but i left it on the brightest it just plugged into the laptop using the micro to usb adaptor supplied. I did have to download a small piece of saftware but guess i could have used vlc or any camera program. Overall cheap enough to keep on the shelf incase you need it again.

If you only need a fairly short endoscope this works really well. I have only used for one thing so far.
