Take advantage of Bruce Wayne’s limitless resources in a mix of game settings, from sea to sky and back to the streets, with the Batboat, Batwing, and rocket-powered Batmobile. Power up with special ability-enhancing outfits like the magnetic suit. Use brand new skills, like tightrope walking between buildings. For the first time ever in LEGO Batman: The Videogame, play through Story Mode from the doomed perspective of Batman’s most notorious villains as they pursue their plans to wreak havoc on Gotham City. Offering excellent replay value in LEGO Batman: The Videogame for the PS2 is the free play mode, which allows players to use characters in Story Mode to access previously hidden areas. Collect LEGO studs and bricks throughout the game to unlock unique power-ups and bonus levels. Access unlocked material and additional characters from either the heroes’ level hub, the Batcave, or the villains’ counterpart, Arkham Asylum. It wouldn’t be a LEGO game without endless possibilities for customization, and LEGO Batman: The Videogame for the PS2 has plenty. Swap characters’ costumes for special attributes or get creative and build entirely new characters from the body parts of others, combining the disparate likes of Harley Quinn, Batman, Joker and the Mad Hatter. There are also plenty of unlockable characters, including Hush and Ra’s al Ghul, while a full suite of cheats expand the gameplay even further. Cheats for LEGO Batman: The Videogame include allowing players to unlock the game’s various content and characters, including Alfred the butler, Joker goon and Penguin goon submarine. Seamlessly integrating into the game world, cheats are entered into the Batcave computer.     Fun for all ages

    LEGO Batman for the PS2 is a fun and challenging game for all ages. I enjoy playing it with my six year old. We work together to get through the levels. For a young player I like that it's fun and fast action but also is challenging and requires problem solving. As an adult, I find it amusing and like working through the levels. The graphics are great and the animation is smooth, especially when you consider how old the game is and the limitations of the console compared to today's systems. This is definitely a timeless game fun for all ages.

    Ah my childhood

    I played this game originally on my ps3 in the late 2000’s and loved it. I never 100% it though. When building a library for my new ps2 getting this was a no brainer. Graphics and such are a bit downgraded but the game still looks and feels mostly the same and with the same content. One of the best LEGO games ever.
