It had a puncture on one side that went into the inner box (see pictures), and had only one strap that could be slipped off, and the tape looked like the item had been opened at some point, and something rattled inside (may have been the loose remote or a filter). To my surprise the inner box was unopened and Styrofoam lined. The item is new as described and was a great value.
