    Tamron SP 150-600mm G2.

    When I got this Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 lens right out of the box it was in need of calibration as the images taken where all blurry especially at the longer mm's, So I spent the better part of two hours calibrating it at 200mm and at 550mm until I was satisfied with the image quality. I've used the lens and tested it on various subjects and I'm impressed with it, it takes wonderful static images up around 500mm then it loses some of it's clarity, and although this is an issue in the field the images can be corrected in editing fairly easily. It is also a superb lens in capturing birds in flight or other fast moving objects but it takes some getting use to which should be expected. Overall I would say that this lens lives up to it's reputation of being a very good ...

    Super Telephoto is Great Advance for Tamron

    Great lens for many purposes. The new image stabilization provided by the G2 is very good. Some of the other changes were expected but the lens focal length braking system was not. It is a true innovation for a lens of such a broad range of lengths and physical size to be able to fix the focal length. Bluebird image was shot handheld at 50'+. Minor post-processing performed.

    Super photos for a reasonable cost.

    The Tamron SP 150-600 G2 lens is a great lens for shooting wildlife. I have shot handheld and ended up with super sharp photos. My only issue with the lens is how far you have to turn the lens to go from 150 mm to 600 mm. It's a bit heavy but I knew that buying the lens. I would highly recommend this lens for someone who wants a super zoom and doesn't want to spend a fortune for it.
