    A Great movie!!

    I really enjoyed this movie. The music, acting, and dancing is very nice. My wife has a degree in music and loves this stuff. I personally like something nice to watch. This movie talks about gangs, murder, and racism, kinda like today. In California, 85% of violent crime is done by young people ages 14 to 25 years old. NOW THAT'S SAD.

    Worth the time.

    It won awards for music and acting so enough said. The movie got point across about young people with no guidance from parents showing their confused idea of life and the tragedies that can follow such a situation. Scenes were within boundaries of good taste and language. Current movies could learn from these old dignified movies that can tell a story without being blatantly offensive.

    Great classic movie

    I have always loved this movie. It is even more relevant lately with the current talk about discrimination and how we need to accept each other as people and for exactly how we are. Glad to finally own the DVD so I can watch it anytime I want.
