    Great dac+amp 4 phones also able to output to other devices. Great bang 4 buck, around top 3-5 option in price range for Solid State amps IMHO

    Great little amp/dac considering it's japanese made which to me has mostly always meant quality, it is very neutral sounding in my opinion which to some would be great to some others might sound dull or boring, i think the balanced output boosts specially all the bass frequencies and i do dig that. What seems to probably not be that great is with soundstage, i am using an hd800s and it seems to narrow the soundstage a bit, still need to experiment with it a bit more since i haven't had enough time with it. I would recommend it for its price range and if possible getting a b-stock or a very lightly used unit so that you can get the best price possible on it without the risk of it being a bit (or a lot) banged up, posibly if you believe in it as well get to experience its burn-in period. So ...
