    A good economical solution

    Everything about this unit is great. It came with a preinstalled wire; saved $12 on that. It’s longer and thinner than the previous unit they fit perfectly with one small adjustment to the existing plumbing. The one drawback is there is no access on the bottom to break a jam. The instructions advises using a wooden broom handle from the top to break a jam; that seems weird.

    Nice value disposal

    Easily installed. Runs well. Smaller than the original unit. No jam removal socket for hex key; they want you to jam a broom handle inside the disposal in order to remove any jamming. Nice to have a 3 year warranty.

    Waste Maid disposal purchase

    This was a much lighter disposal than the one I removed. Both were 1/2 hp. Working under the sink and positioning this new light weight disposal unit was much easier to complete! I would definitely recommend this Waste Maid disposal unit, and the price was right to!
