    Clean look but beware

    The dash mount is exactly what I was looking for, something that looked oem. I purchased this knowing that phone bracket included is too small for much of the newer larger phones (iPhone XS max/Note) but fits the og iPhone fine. You can find a similar bracket adapter for larger phones for the 17mm ball on Amazon. Install was easy, clean the dash, stick the double sided mounting tape under mount. screw it in with the self tapping screws included. Took about 8 min total.

    Fits and functions as described.

    I bought this for the extra compartments on top of my dash and the cell phone holder. It fits good to my dash. I only used the double sided tape that came with it to install. I did not want to screw it down onto my dash. I like that It holds my phone securely and where I can see it. Perfect for my application.

    Safe alternative wo window suction cup.

    I like to use the Off Road Atlas app when I am in the Jeep out on the National Forest trails. I wanted a mount that was secure to hold my phone. You can velcro or screw the mount to the dash recess. I chose to use the screws to lock the mount in place. The spring loaded jaws securely hold the phone while bumping along the trail.
