Fitted two of these so far to N- gauge locos and they are excellent giving several seconds power to an old Graham Farish 5 pole motor tank engine and many more seconds to a more recent Farish 2 car DMU. Enough to travel a few inches to 2 feet respectively. Note that the voltage supplied drops almost instantly to around 9-10 volts which is enough for the DCC decoders to power motor, but on board lighting may dim immediately.
