Quirky character Rayman returns to home consoles in this critically acclaimed 2D masterpiece. Rayman Origins mimics Rayman's debut gaming appearance by utilizing the same vintage game format: the 2D side-scrolling platform game. This storyline finds interesting characters Rayman, Globox, and two wizards (the Teensies), on a heroic mission. Their quest: to rescue the Glade of Dreams from the evil and manipulative Darktoons, created by a vengeful granny from the Land of the Living Dead. In order to do this they must collect many Electoons, which are uncovered over various levels. Explore fantastical destinations while travelling over 60 action-packed levels. Test your prowess at jumping, shooting, and animal-riding among other tasks. Rayman Origins includes speedy 60 frames-per-second visuals, as well as jump-in, jump-out cooperative support. Up to four players can play at a time.

    Lives Up to the Hype

    This seems to have been touted as the best side scrolled for Wii, and had been on my radar for years. Finally I got it, and it actually my expectations! The graphics are some of the best you'll see on Wii, and the game play is tight and satisfying. The game does get tough at times, but the good controls keep it from being too frustrating. Plus, infinite lives and plentiful checkpoints mean you'll definitely get through any snags as long as you try. Finally, the multiplayer is actually very playable. My kids actually helped me make considerable progress on my saved file last night. So great that they were able to jump in and help me, I wish we'd been doing that from the beginning. Multiplayer has the potential to be laggy and/or chaotic, but this experience was very smooth all around. I ...

    Fantastic game!

    Rayman Origins is an outstanding game, the controls are tight, the levels well thought out, the graphics are as though you are playing a cartoon, and it is crazy over the top fun. A wonderful platformer that can be either easy or challenging depending on what you want. If you like side scrolling platformers and zany action, this game is for you!

    I Love Rayman Now

    Basically put, if rayman had these type of graphics back in the day, then I would be a rayman fan! Excellent game! Easy levels with challenges that make it hard yet, has a very simple plot!........................Nothing more to be said

    It's cool.

    It's a fun game, but if you played Rahman legends first, then this one is NOT as fun. Legends is definitely more fun. But this is a cool game and for a great price!
