Original soundtrack for the 2008 film, composed by Thomas Newman. Revolutionary Road is based on the 1961 novel by Richard Yates, the story of 1950's America and the question that has been reverberating through modern relationships ever since: Can two people break away from the ordinary without breaking apart? a young couple living in a Connecticut suburb during the mid-'50's struggle to come to terms with their personal problems while trying to raise their two children. This is the first movie since Titanic that Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have starred in together.
