    Best Synth pedal on the market right now for accurate tracking & straight forward synthesis.

    This is one of the best synths on the market, & the signal is direct, it's not converted to midi, so tracking is flawless. You can sweep pick it's so accurate. Also, if you have any of the other Boss 200 pedals, since the synth pedal has a full-fledged digital screen, you can use it to label presets, & then slave all your other 200 pedals to it via 1/8 midi connection. You can even take all the synth off the preset & use it to trigger clean tones, or whatever combo of effects you might have from the other 200 pedals on your board. Its worth every penny & then some.

    Great pedal

    If you are thinking about getting the SY1, get this instead. It is well worth the price. I use it in the fx loop of my GT1000. I prefer to use blended sounds, where I create a dual path so the original guitar signal is always going through. I don't try to substitute a keyboard player with it. More an ambiance approach. Also, I program midi to change patches in the SY200 depending on what patch I'm on in the GT1000.

    Totally worth it!
