    Great for printing double-sided colour programmes

    I took on the task of printing 120 colour double-side programmes for our choir concert. With my old printer this was very difficult and time consuming. With the Brother DCP-9020CDW it was very easy. I used colour laser 100g/m2 paper and got very good results and no paper jams. Replacement toner cartridges are readily available and easy to change. I needed to open the window while the print run was underway to let the fumes out. Overall I am very satisfied. It was a good investment.

    Great printer - hidden costs

    Brother DCP-9020CDW is probably the best printer I have owned in terms of the print quality, speed and software functionality. The downfall of this printer is the 'fuser unit'. It failed on my first machine so I tried to get it repaired. I found that the cost of repairs were greater than what I could buy a new printer for. Uneconomic to get it fixed! Hence the purchase of this second printer. The first printer had cost me £192.00. Cost to get it repaired - £207.00. Cost of the second new printer - £150.00 I read a number of reviews stating the problem with the fuser and saying it failed within a period of one to three years. I will let you make up your own mind.

    Excellent Printer at a keen price

    Having the ability to double side print is going to save me time then I print Magazine covers. Very good quality prints at the moment, hopefully this will be maintained throughout its life! The only drawback so far has been the sheet feeder which will only accept one sheet at a time, which if printing a lot of extra thick material will increase time over the printer!

    Laser printer

    The printer arrived quickly and with little effort was connected to my home network. It proved easy to set up and connected to both mobile and hard wired computers without any problems. The print quality is good but not of photo quality, but there again for the price that could not be expected. Would I recommend this printer ? Most definitely for the price it is superb.

    Good for this price.

    I haven't use it much yet, but seems to be working fine. The toner cartridges are quite expensive what makes this printer not the cheapest one even if each colour is separate. The software also have several bugs, what reduces the printer functionality and comfort of use, but it is nothing drastic. This is my first laser printer and I'm quite happy with this purchase for now.
