    proper replacement items better than original

    I broke my wipers by turning them on whilst frozen and thought the worst. My go to is usually you tube because someone will have had it done and recorded it. I came across the X8R promo and decided to order them. Well they arrived a day earlier than estimated and were very straight forward to fit. It is quite obvious that this is a much better fitting than the factory originals (which in my case had pinged off breaking one on the snap on plastic cups) I would recommend this product as a replacement to original as someone has used thought and engineering know how to manufacture things better which is great.

    The video tutorial is a must.

    When I initially took these to mechanic to fit he thought they wouldn't fit as the end fittings were different to original. Contacted company who were very accommodating and helpful and started a return. During this I spotted the video tutorial and watched. Even me who struggles to fill the windscreen washer bottle saw how they would work so returned to garage and explained. I now have a set of working wipers! Cancelled return and couldn't be happier with product and with company. If I hadn't watched video and continued with return it would have cost me £150+vat for vauxhall part alone as there is no other alternative. Very happy

    Better than stock

    After watching tge videos on how to fit these i thought would be simple as the video showed. Wasnt as easy as that for me (fitment wise easy peasy) the cover however, could not get off the front of the car. I managed to fit these in situ, without removing the cover or window motor mount. However this was harder to do i used a wood working clamp to fit on as i couldnt get the grips they had in the gap i made. Highly recommended product, definitely replace your stock with these before they actually go. Unfortunately I didnt take pictures of these pre/post fitment

    Wiper push rods replacement

    Simple good quality kit. Took me about an hour to remove, fit and refit to the Vectra C. I busted my push rod arms by not freeing them in the last freeze. I hit the wiper arm by mistake and, (huge) bang. Four busted ball joints. This kit got me out of trouble and for the money its well worth it. I did find that the arms have to be trial fitted as one way they just popped off the ball joints. Turned round 180 degrees and they snapped into place and stayed there. I certainly recommend this kit. The worse part was re fitting the plastic valence that covers the mechanism which has no relation to the kit. Get the right tools for the job and you will be laughing.

    Don't skimp on cheaper alternatives. X8R all the way.

    The main dealer doesn’t sell these and they want you to spend £150 + vat for the full mechanism when it’s just not necessary. Mine failed 2 years ago and I bought a pair of these. They've been fine ever since. My partner's ones failed on her Signum last week and she was charged for the supply and fitting of a similar product via her mechanic. They were NOT of the same quality as these X8R ones, and were bent and making metal to metal contact before we even got home. I ripped them out and ordered another pair of these ones from X8R. Within 10 mins of them arriving, they were installed, and in full working order. I don't expect either car will have another issue during our ownerships. MORAL: Don't waste your money on ANY OTHER product. They might come in chaper, but they won't be of the ...
