    Interesting stuff

    Although the book refers to individual room layouts a lot can be found of interest and ideas gained from it for your own. Altogether a useful little book with a good deal of information.

    Great as far as it goes

    There are some excellent layout plans in this book, to suit every type of space available. The one thing that would improve the book for me would have been a buying list for the track plans we see - number of points of each type needed, length of straights, number of curves of each radius etc. This would turn the book from being useful to incredibly helpful (and probably a great marketing tool)

    n gauge track plans

    these track plans are drawn for N gauge specifically. this makes them much more useful than general plans which require more technical input depending on the scale being modelled. I also found one of the plans to be very useful for a new idea, to use N gauge as a back ground and EM as a foreground, on the same layout. its probably been done before but I have never seen it as an article in any of the magazines. I hope this is useful. Adrian Barron.

    More info would help

    I had hoped for more information, and more variety of track plans with some explanation of the layout of goods sidings, and suitable gradient for elevation of track.
