Very happy
When I ordered I wasn't sure whether I was doing the right thing as it wasn't the official Trangia gas burner. However after using it for a week along side a single tripod style has burner, I can safely say I am very pleaseed with my purchase. It fits the Trangia perfectly and the control of gas flow is great. Also the pipe loop through the flame acting a a pre heater seems to work very well compared with my tripod gas burner.When I ordered I wasn't sure whether I was doing the right thing as it wasn't the official Trangia gas burner. Excellent kit for the money
As a long time fan of my Trangia stove, a gas upgrade was something I’d long been promising myself, but the price was always an obstacle. When I found this adapter on sale for less than half the price of most models, I was initially sceptical but the reviews all seemed positive, so I took a punt. I’m pleased to report that it seems to have been the right move. The adapter works brilliantly, the heat output is as good as any gas camp stove I’ve used and boils water in a fraction of the time the meths burner takes. The build quality appears very good, and the adapter (in its storage bag) fits very neatly in the kettle of my 27 series stove (the smaller model). If I have one criticism, the control valve could maybe offer better modulation of the heat output; there is only about half a turn ... (I should say that I don’t know how other adapters perform on this last point, but I often made use of the adjustable simmer cap that Trangia burners come with.) In summary, it works well for the money, and I would recommend it to any Trangia owners out there who are fed up with the smell of meths at mealtimes.

Gas burner for use with Trangia storm cooker.
This is a good quality gas burner to use with the excellent "Trangia storm cookers " . This is a less expensive version of the Trangia gas unit. It performs exactly as well as the original . I now have two. These units enable much shorter cooking times and are easy to adjust the flame. Used with the Trangia cooker they are economical in the use of gas.

This little gas burner works a treat in the Trangia and although ive used the Trangia with meth's, sometimes you need to cook things faster when cooking a number of items for a meal where as using meth's takes a little while longer and is better for cooking one or two items. The gas canister I got with it is ok but a bit on the larger size for just two people to lug around but would be essential if cooking for a family. All in all I would recommend this gas burner for use with a Trangia and is a lot cheaper than an original branded burner.Bought to go in Trangia 27 stove. Great gas burner, works in liquid feed mode
A very easy to use burner. I read reviews that said it is hard to control in liquid feed mode, but it is controllable in liquid feed mode. As liquid is denser than gas the burner will need turning down when changing from gas to liquid.
