Buy it and brighten up those miserable dark pre-Christmas nights
A wurzelised collection of Christmas songs that are very listenable and entertaining. They are not perhaps as funny as other wurzels albums, but it doesn't repeat any of their previous tracks as some other albums do. Here they take a fresh look at traditional arrangements and have come up with an alternative recording for your Christmas party! Plenty of ooo-ahs throughout and an outstanding rendition of Fairytale of New York, I love the original, but the rendition on this album equals it for sure!A wurzelised collection of Christmas songs that are very listenable and entertaining. The Best Album I have bought for years!
Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant! What fun. Beautifully arranged versions of old Christmas songs. I heard sleigh ride (which is my favourite) on Andy Bennetts show on BBC radio Somerset and it was just so uplifting, I had to buy the album, not only that but I have recommended it to friends and family and they will be getting a copy next year. This CD was just what I needed after 2020, it is so jolly and fun, it makes me smile every time I listen to it, I wish I had found it years ago. Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant! What fun.
