I love the Looney Tunes and was looking around for a game when I came across this one. I'm happy to say that it has exceeded my expectations. I haven't watched the movie that this game is based on, but I bought this anyway after seeing all of the positive reviews on it. The characters act just like they do in the classic shorts, and the dialogue stays true to their personalities. Players can take turns playing as Bugs and Daffy as they travel around the globe to find this monkey who stole a huge, blue diamond. The graphics are beautiful and the voice actors did a really good job at sounding like the characters (since the beloved Mel Blanc had already passed away before the game was made). Each character has different abilities that need to be used to collect money and bonus items to move to new locations and unlock extras, respectively. I love how Bugs and Daffy talk to each other during gameplay and comment on things around them (such as Bugs saying, "Well, as I live and breathe, it's Foghorn Leghorn!" whenever he sees him walking around). The other things they say are also funny and make the player feel more like part of the game (like Daffy saying, "Those mindless programmers could've heated the water. . . Brrr! It's not like anybody would've known. . ." or Bugs saying, "Who does my ears? Wouldn't you like to know?"). The game is packed with funny moments and familiar characters, including Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian and his dog K-9, and even the Crusher, Nasty Canasta, and the little owl from the cartoon "I Love to Singa". I'm 18 and I thoroughly enjoyed playing this for hours on end. I strongly recommend fans of the Looney Tunes to add this game to their collection; it will definitely not disappoint.Read full review

I was first drawn to this game because I wanted something fun and light-hearted to play. I grew up watching that "wascally wabbit" and his friends, and the game’s overview was intriguing, so this seemed like a perfect fit. Boy did I pick a winner - this game ROCKS! The overall premise is clear - catch all of the monkeys on the loose, and most importantly, the Blue Diamond. You will not be at a loss for not having seen the movie (I haven’t seen it). The dialogue & character comments are sometimes laugh-out-loud hysterical. The animation is smooth and the characters seem to come to life. The playing areas and backgrounds are fantastically detailed and quite imaginative. One of the things I loved most about the game is that occasionally a few less-prominent Looney Tunes characters will appear in the missions. If you are a Looney Tunes fan this will be quite a nostalgic blast from the past! You get to play as either Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck. Certain missions require either a rabbit's or duck's special skills (burrowing underground, swimming, etc.). Usually the skills needed are made obvious by defaulting to that character. Often there will be on-screen hints or vocal cues to prompt you on which skills to use. Be sure to collect as much money as you can so that you can travel to the next locale or buy a monkey or the costume needed for a specific element of a mission. Additionally you can search for hidden Michigan E. Frog statues or boxes of Road-runner birdseed to unlock bonus challenges. There are audible clues as to where these items are located; getting to them can sometimes be as challenging as certain aspects of a mission. This is a fun game that is appropriate for all ages. Don't think that because these guys are toons that the missions are simple! The missions can be very challenging at times, but they are not extremely difficult. In some of the missions, like saving five of your friends from being cooked for dinner by racing through mazes of jungle ruins, you will race against a clock. Most of them though let you take your time as long as you accomplish the pre-set goal. I did not like two things about the game but they didn’t affect my rating. The first is some of the long loading times between missions, especially when I failed and needed to repeat the mission until I succeeded. I was also irked by the inability to change the camera angle at crucial times. But in comparison to the fun in playing “Looney Tunes: Back in Action”, a little patience goes a long way. Mischievous mayhem abounds here.Read full review

My eight year old Looney Tunes Fan says: I love Looney Tunes! Each chapter gets really hard at level 4 or 5. Type in "passpart" when you go to "options" if you need help .
No issues
