    A joy to re-read, and re-read

    Who doesn't love Peanuts cartoons? This collection is no exception and is, in fact, even better than reading them one day at a time. It's a retrospect published by Hallmark which had -- and I didn't realize this -- an ongoing relationship with Charles Schultz for decades. All Christmas themed cartoons, it has some from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. One can see certain changes in the characters appearances (especially between the 50s and 60s) but their personalities never change. It's an inspirational book because Peanuts' creator was a thoughtful, spiritual guy -- with an uncanny grasp of human nature, including the precious minds and hearts of children.
