      Handy tool to have

      I had my doubts about the saw running on the smaller 12v battery but the run time is longer than expected, the smaller battery also keeps the saw compact. The cut on the new blade is very clean and had no trouble cutting 18mm ply and 25mm worktop, 1 battery cut around 9 meters of 18mm ply without showing any sign of running out. The saw is typical Marita quality.

      Little miracle

      OK, I've not used circular saw before. I needed this to shave off 10" from a wardrobe which was too deep. This saw is a true miracle. I used plank of wood as a guide for the saw. Wardrobes were particle board, and this saw went through like a knife through butter. Blade was included too - bonus!

      practical tool for floor layers doing plywood or laminate

      Had bought a few makita power tools, and was after this mini circular saw for cutting plywood which is perfect for floor laying also good for cutting laminate saves me having to get up and go back and forth to cut with a jig saw on a bench can set depth and cut on floor.

      Very Suprised by this saw

      Seems slow at 1st, but keeps speed & revs, even with 1" mdf. Ultra thin blade goes through sheet ply & mdf no problem. Excellent bit of kit.
