      Nice value, but…

      Quality, no wear. I like the included map. I had previously bought a 1965 edition for around the same price. It was in great shape. I would suggest looking for a similar value. The absence of finding a book such as the one I described, this one would work fine.

      Excellent Copy good price shipped promptly

      This is one of many out of print 50th anniversary editions of Lord of the Rings, one of the all time classic fiction novels of the 20th century. This copy is in excellent condition, arrived on time, and I felt it was at a reasonable price. If you are interested in collectibles, you have to sort out how many of the different versions were issued on the 50th anniversary. This is a nice edition.

      Beautiful Addition to the Library

      This book is for the serious adventurer in Middle Earth. The book slip, the interior, the illustrations all are well above average. Even the box packaging is the map of Middle Earth. But this now and watch it increase in value over time.
