    Speed and durability.

    I have used this same drive for several years without issue until we had a serious grid failure that caused the electricity to flutter on and off, with the associated surges that finally killed the drive and messed up my wife's computer. The drive ran for several years before this incident, 24 hours a day, 7-days a week supporting 8 cameras recording in HD 1080p. Videos were pulled and recorded from the drive on several occasions to support police reports and never failed to function perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

    Crashed HDD

    This was for a surveillance system. Seagate's usually a good drive. Crashed roughly 8 or 9 days after installation. One and only time I bought a hard drive thru this method. Tried to go it on the cheap. Won't do it again.

    Excellent drive for constant-use applications

    The hard drive is excellent for applications where it will be continually spinning for hours on end (like DVR recording of camera video feeds.

    CCTV DVR Hard drive

    I bought this 4tb hard drive to replace and upgrade my old dvr 3th hard drive. It was a simple plug and play installation. It is so quiet i cant hear it at all. All i hear is the cooling fan on dvr. Had it on for a week and half, so far it works flawlessly. Excellent cctv hard drive.
