    Excellent Value and good quality product

    I was having series issues with wireless connections in our house (built from cinder blocks) and had to cable from hub to various locations. This Ethernet switch was ideal for distributing the network to various rooms and gave a balanced signal (plugged wireless routers in where required) to all locations. Excellent value, only minor drawback is that the LEDs are on same side as RJ45 sockets so cabling has to enter from front if you want to monitor each port.

    Does the job perfectly.

    This was needed as I have many Ethernet items to connect to my router. I was able to get rid of 2 5 port hubs for 1 8 port hub. Does the job perfectly and all plug and play with no setting up on the users behalf. These days DVD players, Blue ray players, TV sets TV boxes card machines Hive hubs all want an ethernet connection to work. These hubs accommodate connecting these items with out having to plug and unplug items all the time.

    TP-Link TL-SF1008D 8-Port Switch

    Good value for money although a metal case would be better than the plastic case for heat dissipation. But that may add to the cost. One review I read before buying said the power adaptor gets hot, so I plugged it in for a few hours before using it. It seems O.K.
