Laptop read the ram straight away and running faster and better for it.
I don't know enough about different qualities of ram but did some research and Crucial has a good reputation and likewise reviews. Ram module is working well, so, so far so good, my dad's laptop only had 4Gb and was really under performing. I even had pcworld look at it with little help except being told the hard drive was failing and it would need repairing, so I cleared all the temporary files (which it supposed to do weekly) and did optimizing etc and with now 12Gb installed it's working a lot better with no problem from the drive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
