    Confusing set up at first but sounds great

    Minidsp has gone to great lengths to make setting up the 88A very precisely detailed...it can be very confusing and frustrating tuning the room correctly and setting up software, BUT once you do the sound is amazing. It gave my monitors new life and tightened up my overall EQ curve of all nodes and nulls. I had a huge node between 50-85hz and some nulls here and there, and the 88A all but eliminated them flawlessly. It’s set and forget, and with the bass management plug in you can tighten up the bass even more, separating the LF via high pass/low pass much easier and precise if you have additional subwoofer(s) from your full range monitors. During calibration, after you optimize you can also adjust the EQ curve as well. Beautiful piece of gear. I cannot mix without it now!!!
