    Does not hold temp withing a reasonable range - inconsistant accuracy

    I purchased two of these as replacements. I need the less popular two wire stat which limited my choices. The Cadet seems identical to other brands (like Honeywell). I found these to be off more than 5 degrees from setting, worse than the 25 year old ones I was replacing. Going to try to re-calibrate. Worthless junk.

    New item

    This is a brand new item and it works. The only thing is that I ordered 2 pole thermostat and I received single pole. Fortunately for me, it did not matter since my heater is actually single pole, but if someone needs 2 pole thermostat and receives single pole, there could be a problem.
