THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS is a nitro-burning joyride that makes outstanding use of special effects, innovative camera work, and a nonstop throbbing soundtrack. From the opening sequence--a high-speed, high-tech truck robbery--the film never drops below the red line. Roaring along at breakneck speed, Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew meet on the streets of L.A. each night to show off their high-powered racers. When new guy Brian (Paul Walker) wants to add his fuel to the fire, he can't cough up the cash to race, but offers up his car as collateral. In their tiny jacked compacts, Dom, Brian, and Edwin (Ja Rule) burst into a high-gear race with Brian nearly beating perennial champion Dom. But in the final moments, he loses the race and his car. Brian's debt is quickly cleared, however, when he saves Dom both from the cops and from a potentially violent encounter with Johnny Tran (Rick Yune), a rival gang lord. Dom takes Brian under his wing--a decision that disgusts his gang but delights his sister Mia (Jordana Brewster). The gang never suspects that Brian is not who he seems: he is actually an undercover cop, and though he wishes otherwise, he's there to bust Dom for committing the armed truck robbery witnessed in the opening scenes.

    I have given this seller a positive review but only because a refund was given promptly. The condition of the dvd received was the worst I have ever seen . A very large and straight line across the dvd from one edge to the other. You won’t be surprised to learn it would not play on my dvd player The seller apologised for sending it to me in that condition . Fair enough. However, someone should have spotted this before it was sent. It was an incredibly noticeable mark on the dvd.

    The movie that changed youth car culture globally

    You can't have not heard of "The Fast and the Furious", the movie has changed the face of youth car culture globally. What was previously an elite interest in modified cars can now be seen in every town where the movie has inspired car modifications from vinyl graphics to oversize spoilers. This movie stars Paul Walker, a relatively unknown actor at the time, alongside hollywood big name Vin Diesel. Both appear great castings for the roles they fulfill, Diesel the sinister "bad guy" with troubled past vs Walker as the all American good guy playing the undercover cop. The movie sees "Brian" (Walker) attempting to infiltrate the underground street racing scene, where Diesel's character rules the scene as the racer everybody wants to beat and never can.     The Fast And The Furious

    Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does great justice..rocommended dvd to have in your selection but all depends on your own personal views! great dvd and i will purchase more from ebay.

    the fast and the furious

    This is one of those films that gets panned by the critics but draw me to watch them over and over. Some find it a bit shallow and very "Hollywood". If however you are into the cruising/modifying/street racing scene you will love this. The basic story line is this: A few articulated lorries carrying high-value goods have been knocked off by the same gang, driving black honda civic's with green neon lights underneath. The FBI suspect that the culprits are involved in the street-racing scene and have a name in mind. Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) is chosen to become a street racer and mingle with Dominic Torreto's (Vin Diesel) gang to find out who is behind the hijackings. Brian begins to discover the true depth and integrity to Dominic's gang, leaving him to question who's side he should ...

    gd watchin love the cars

    love this film has gorgeous cars and men (vin deisel) actualy has a plot some good racing sceens end of film leaves it open for more films which they have made each one better than the last the new one is wkd cars are out of this world and so is the drifting well worth gettin this collection if ur a car lover
