    It simply does not work

    Simply put it does not work. Hired a plumber who confirmed it is useless. Plumber has his own system for the difficult task of removing the seat anchors required to replace the seat. A waste of money.

    Evil necessity

    A satisfactory result

    Worth buying the kit just to get the two inserts. Unfortunately the 'gripper' tool that's meant to hold the insert while you remove the old screw wasn't able to prevent the insert from turning and I had to cut off the old screw and drill out the old insert. Once I had completed that, I put the new insert in place, tightened it down with the bolt that's provided and then installed the new seat.

    Must have for Kohler one piece

    This kit is a must have for Kohler one piece toilet if the original anchor is broken because it is almost impossible to install a new toilet seat without this kit without having the seat to move.
