    Title tells it like it is, but doesn't do the book just

    I bought my copy new back in the mid to late 1990's. It is easily an excellant reference book well detailed in both words and colored photos. I can't imagine a book on this subject that would or could be better and without a doubt it has to be the absolute #1 reference on this specific subject. If you collect or buy and sell or just want to learn some/much military history buy this book-soon!

    Great book

    I purchased this book hoping it would help me to identify unit crests that I had started to collect. It has been outstanding in identifying most of the crests that I had on hand. It does not identify all of them , but enough to make it worth what I paid.

    Good reference book

    I bought a used copy. Only problem it had a couple of pages that had pictures and history cut out. Other than that great book. It has already helped me out.
