This eight-piece spanner wrench set combines two wrench heads per single tool. The set contains every size from 6 mm to 22 mm in one-millimetre intervals (with the exception of 21 mm).       These Hilka spanners must be from a batch of B-stock. I seen them in a shop and they looked good quality, so after a while I decided to order some online at a cheaper price. The casting of the spanners is all pitted, and the machining for the bi-hex heads are very off-center on some. With the vital 10mm spanner having a razor thin edge, rendering it completely unusable. Seller wanted me to pay for a signed return, which is half the price of the product, so I lose out either way.

      Really Good

      I got these for a nasty set of nuts that were under the lip of my table saw and I needed the extra depth to reach them as they are deep and really hidden They do the job perfectly no sighn of twisting or wear on the rings after beig kicked all over my heavy tools and floors . As to if you were to use them for the car or van I cant comment. As my ones are used in the workshop. but they should be ok . hilka has been around over 4 decades and they were the tools that were affordable to most people I have a 30 year old socket set thats in fine working condition after stripping down many engines so they do have a kind of reliable pedigree.

      Hilka Offset Spanners

      The set of spanners should be ok for light work. Finish is rather rough and plastic carrier probably won't last too long. Good enough for general DIY and home mechanic at a reasonable price.

      You get what you pay for

      For the price I can’t really complain too much, the larger spanners are good it’s the smaller one where the quality really dips, i haven’t used the smaller sizes but I would be dubious bout using them if I had too, the head of the smaller sizes don’t seem to be formed right and I can imagine it would be quite easy to round off a bolt head with them

      Sturdy and good value for money.

      You can always rely on Hilka for good quality and value for money (my Hilka socket set is over 30 years old and still going strong). A great addition to home mechanic tools for getting at those hard to access recessed nuts (battery terminals etc). Recommended.

      Great set of ring spanners

      I bought a set of these for a job I needed to do as i Seemed to have lost my old set. I found them at a terrific price online but the bonus for me was an impressive range of sizes from 10mm to 22mm. I needed to use a 15mm, 16mm and a 18mm, with the usual "awkward spot" problems that a deep ring overcome's. So, 10 out of 10 for quality, price and range of sizes.
