    solid basic overview

    Solid basic overview but in my opinion not enough detail; good for "beginners" in this field. I needed itfor an intro class; Santrock's Child Development is great. All in all a good starter.

    Good Book

    Filled with quality information that is required for Freshman Psychology Classes. It is not as detailed as I expected and has a tendancy to be vague on some portions and too involved in others. Whould have liked to seen more updated information for such a new revision.

    great book - required for my psychology class

    i enjoyed using this book to study with. it gives full explanations and examples of psychological terms. great for a beginner!

    Helped a lot

    This book helped me, as a college freshman going into Youth Ministry, to understand the basics of psychology. Good illustrations and good chapter reviews to help you study.

    Inner spine on book was damaged.

    Book had damange on the inside spine. I was not aware of this wneh I bought it. I bought it for my son to use in a summer college course.
