    Kids love it and so do I

    Mo Willems is one of my favorite authors to read to the pre-readers in my life. From Knufflebunny to Pigeon to his other books, there are fun learning adventures that engage on every page. In this book, the obstinate pigeon doesn’t want to take a bath and uses both plausible and ridiculous reasoning to avoid getting in the tub. I appreciate the humor woven into every line and love to hear the laughter of the kids and their guesses as to what the pigeon will do on the next page!

    Pigeon is a Very Funny Bird!

    This is the original story in the Pigeon series. I have read it several times and it still makes me laugh. Pigeon finds lots of ways to try to avoid a bath with funny speech bubbles and antics to make readers giggle. He also seems to convey some of the real human feelings that many children may have about baths. I love this book so much that I bought a hard copy version after my paperback starting showing it's overuse.
