      Leather Stropping Hone

      When a knife becomes dull it isn't normally because the edge wears away - the edge actually rolls over. Really. When you sharpen the blade it mostly re-bends the edge to it's original position, and when you use the leather hone it straightens the edge to it's original position without removing any metal. I touch up the edges on my knife daily, without the worry of wearing out, or deforming, the blade AND it's always hair popping sharp. I really appreciate this tool. Walt Brande walt1348

      It's good for what it is.

      It's good for the price. And it works good in the system, but the manufacturing quality is a bit sketchy. And I hope the leather is able to stay on the mount long enough for me to use it for its full life.
