    Tiger, not the Golf one.

    I found this movie very entertaining. For a foreign film, which you need to enable sub-titles, it is well acted and well written. The film runs the gamut of emotions, comedy, sadness, retribution and forgiveness. I must warn the squeamish, it might have some scenes that are not for the young. All in all a very good see.

    Underrated, at least

    The theme is unusual and unexpected, proposing the understatement of the constitution of the trite ferocity of the ultimate predator and its psychological connection to the Korean people. Historically correct in a non-focused sense, this film provides a fascinating glimpse into a forgotten time and place, unexplored and unimportant, perhaps to the rest of the world in modern times. Choi Min Sik, as expected, gives a stellar performance as an unfamiliar character in an intricate and compelling circumstance. Sophistication of the plot, superb directing, outstanding special effects, and unflinching portrayal of reality speak to the achievement of modern Korean Cinema. This film will be under-viewed and under-appreciated, but will remain in my collection of superior films.
