    Lots of reading/story for anyone who loves animals

    I bought this out of curiosity - never heard of the book or author, I later discovered she'd written a lot of books and is also an illustrator, she has a website. I thought it would be a slender book but it's a proper sized "novel" all about various animals adventures on a boat and in a boatyard. It is a lovely properly written story that keeps you wondering what will happen next. It has some serious issues too, such as bullying and the death of one of the animals. In that respect it is a mature book, dealing with things that can happen but in a gentle way. It is a heart warming book and I learnt a lot about boats and boatyards!
