Mistakenly ordered a paperback that I thought was a hardcover, not sellers fault; it was described properly on the listing. Seller still processed a refund the day I went to return the item and let me keep the item anyway. A+++ service. Book arrived quickly in great condition and for a great price. Thank you so much! Amazing seller!

Worth the investment and a very good place to start with your Gen III/VI rebuild project

Received the book about a week or so ago and am 1/2 way through the first read (far enough along to have developed an opinion). The book touches on Gen III/IVs ranging from high h.p. aluminum block LSs to cast iron LMs, LQs etc. I have found to book to be a good planning resource and at the very least a good starting point for making your plan. Graphics are very good and explanations at this point seem satisfactory. Necessary tools etc. are illustrated and explained in sufficient detail and recommended (possibly sponsored or at least favored) sources are provided as well. For a manual the text will well written and well edited. Explanations are easy to understand and the author does a good job of avoiding overly lofty technical details that in the end do not really help the average ...

  • Good book

Great information. I like all the gm how to books. They all have a lot of valuable information. Even if you know how to rebuild, it’s still good information to have on hand

  • Good for stock rebuilder information, LS Engine only

Doesn’t have all info that I was looking for. For instance it doesn’t give torque specs for clutch. And it also doesn’t show where steam lines go or how to wire the coils.

  • Great for basic rebuilding

Very practical book for rebuild, not designed as a book to discuss high performance upgrades; very good for complete stock rebuilds.
