    Covered in someone else's markings

    Gutfeld is great, but my low marks here are because the book came with loads of lines, passages and paragraphs distractingly underlined by a previous owner, often with personal reminders and comments like 'funny' written in. I don't mind a used book feeling used, but this was way past the usual level and I wouldn't have bought it had I realised in what poor condition it was in those terms. I don't want someone signalling to me the whole time about what they think are the good bits coming up in the book I'm reading.
