Whilst if a sensor fails the ohms test this is a reliable indication that the sensor is faulty, the reverse is not the case. My suspect sensor measured 1458 ohms compared to 1429 ohms for a new one. The device proved that the suspect sensor gave a much lower ac output. I replaced the sensor with a new one and the ABS light has gone out. Also works with active sensors if you keep the wiring harness connected. Arrived next working day A++
