EXCELLENT MODEL OF A POPULAR HORNBY LOCOMOTIVE
AN EXCELLENT MODEL OF A POPULAR, BUT NOT EASILY OBTAINABLE LOCOMOTIVE ,HENCE THE HIGH RETAIL PRICE. THIS MODEL WAS BUILT IN THE EARLY 2000'S, BUT IT HADN'T BEEN USED AND WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

A good price but the quality was disappointing
As I unwrapped the engine from the plastic covering the body detached from the wheelbase/engine and took a considerable time to fix and even now it is fragile. However the price was very good.. Although it looked new it had probably been used or on display . Or it could be a Hornby fault.
