      EXCELLENT entertainment.

      This down to earth series about midwifes in the east end of London. Ranks very high in all my years of watching TV , beginning in 1952. The actor's and actress's could not have been picked any better for all the parts played by them. To put it bluntly it makes you feel as if you are actually there with them, and going through all the ups and downs of the daily lives.*****10/10.

      Thank u for the mid wife's my girlfriend was delighted with the DVD series she really loves this program it takes me back as I member the original midwife's on call when I was a kid back in the sixties so stay safe to u all.
