    My space seems to be too big for this air conditioner.

    I purchased this air conditioner for my 12x24, converted storage shed. After installing and running the unit for a hour, my converted space was still very warm inside…after running the unit for several more hours, I was convince that my space was too big for this unit. Feeling disappointed, I set the unit on low, and left it running all night…to my surprise, the next day, after entering my converted space, I was met by a burst of COLD air! I didn’t get too happy about it, because it was morning and not very hot outside, yet….as the temperature started to rise, my space was still very cool inside…later that evening, when the temperature was at it’s highest peak, my space was still very cool inside and the setting was on low. I no longer wonder (Is this space too big for this air ...

    AVOID

    I was shocked and disappointed that this unit comes with a window frame, but NOTHING you need whatsoever to have it fit into window screen/frame and sit on a window screen/window unit. Nothing greatly saved by the low price (which is why I bought it in the first place). It is loud, and doesn't spread the airflow evenly. Water just doesn't want to go outside and I've collected pools of water all over and below where the conditioner. So, I got a loud and very dissatisfying experience.

    Inexpensive, effective, and easy to install

    Inexpensive, effective, and easy to install. My 20 yo daughter was able to install this window AC w/o my oversight. It is for a bedroom and it works very well. No complaints. I definitely recommend it.

    Works great for the space!

    My daughter’s room faces east and gets pretty toasty even with the house AC on. At first we struggled a luttle with the install, i added a couple of brackets to secure the unit inside using the screws that were already there (the window sill has a small lip), but it all works out great! We left is running for a while to get it to go and pretty soon it was too cold in the room! Perfect!
