    Not great build quality

    Bought this when my electric kettle stopped working. Understand that using gas to boil water costs less than electricity & therefore better for the environment. It takes longer to boil than electric but not usually in such a hurry? I've been using this kettle for a few months now and the handle is becoming a bit wobbly. You must be careful when picking it up when hot not to touch any metal. I use an oven mitten. Good for occasional use such as caravanning but I'm dubious about durability for long term daily use. I'm sure the one my grandparents had many years ago was a much sturdier design.

    Lovely kettle but spout pourer broke in a week.

    Received the kettle and it is nice looking, boils the water lovely. I had the kettle a few days and the pin on lever that opens the spout to pour came out and I was unable to open it. My husband had to take the handle off and the spring that is holding the pin in had broken. He managed to fix this but I had no other kettle to use or would have sent it back. A little disappointing as other than that the kettle is really nice.

    kool kettle

    Looks really cool does the job,this takes longer to boil water than an electric kettle,but then it will do your using it on the hob,i`m very pleased with it and would recommend.
