    Fairly nice box set, the price was very good.

    This is a set of the Van Halen Roth years '78-'84, the discs are housed in 'mini -lp' replicas of the original vinyl releases. The set as a whole is housed in a nice sturdy clamshell box. Overall, it is a pretty decent package worth having.

    Gen-X Rock!

    I haven't heard some of these albums since my teens, they take me back. This package is an affordable way to get all of these classic rock albums in one easy package. Not to mention the reliability and sound quality of cd's. My only small qualm would be there is no booklet to give a historical overview of the albums. But, keeping things bare-bones keeps the cost low.

    Classic songs by a unique, innovative band.

    For the price, this box set is a terrific bargain. I had the first Van Halen album on CD and Diver Down on cassette, but I never owned the first six albums by the original band members all at one time. Everyone in the group is great and adds their unique qualities to the music. I, like a lot of you, thought I'd get to enjoy the live and in-person talents of the great Edward Van Halen forever, but I guess God needs him now. A excellent body of work by one of the all-time great bands. Highly recommended.

    Van Halen Gets It Right

    How nice to see Van Halen acknowledging what the fans want by putting out this wonderful set of NON-HAGAR Van Halen. The CD's come in cardboard covers that resemble the original LP releases (although there's no wording on the spine) which are further housed in a nice box. And the price that this is going for just can't be beat. Highly recommended.

    Good deal great music

    It is a very economical way to get a great Van Halen collection. If you want plastic jem cases for your CDs you will have to buy them. This set come in a sturdy card board box. Each CD is in it's own card board sleave with album cover on the front and song list on the back. I would definitely buy this again.
