    Good historic content

    Large in size making it hard to read. Very interesting historic letters and photos, but sometimes hard to read because of the time they were written. Great history reference book, with interesting letter authors. I initially read the Emigrant series by Moberg and liked it better, but my grandfather emigrated from Sweden in the 1800s so I could relate to the story. Not a bad book but not what I had expected.

    Intetesting

    Being it is a very old book it does have a musty smell. I put it in the freezer for a few days and that helped. I received it promptly and it is all in tact.

    A large book with many actual pictures and sketches of the times.

    A great book as it records the diaries, letters, pictures of the actual people who settled Minnesota. It starts at the beginning exploration and continues till after WWII.
