Returns
Any item not found to be defective may incur a return carriage charge.
We will require proof of purchase when returning the item.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost returns so please ensure you return them via an appropriate courier or insured method as we do not accept any liability until received by us.
Goods should be returned in their original packaging where possible, with adequate protection to ensure that the goods and packaging reach us in good condition.
For Returns
Please download and complete the following RETURNS FORM and enclose the form with the item(s)
Returns can take up to 28 days for your return to be processed once it has arrived at the store warehouse.
All Items returned must be in original packaging and original boxes. All packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards and all other accessories/documentation provided by the manufacturer must be included.
Faulty Items
Any manufacturer’s faults which become apparent in the first 14days from the date of purchase will be dealt with directly by CNS Powertools. After this 14 day period, it will be at our discretion whether the item is return to us directly for warranty or information is passed onto the customer of their nearest warranty agents. CNS Powertools cannot be held responsible for warranty work being refused or any charges imposed by warranty agents.
All Faulty items MUST be reported to CNS Powertools before they are returned by calling our direct number on 01792 798300 or by emailing our faults team at dispatch@cnspowertools.com.
All items returned to CNS Powertools will be paid for by the customer. Please ensure that the item(s) to be returned includes your returns form. (It is important that the returns form is completed clearly and in as much detail as possible).
We strongly recommend that you fully insure any package is authorized to be returned to CNS Powertools as we will not be held liable for any items lost or damaged in transit. We suggest the use of a carrier that can provide you a "proof of delivery" or a tracking service.
Any item returned found not to be defective may incur a return freight charge, we shall require receipt of payment before returning the item.
Discontinued or end of life products can only be returned for repair. No refunds or exchanges will be offered.
Non-faulty Or Incorrect Goods Received
You may only return an item that is unwanted under the following criteria:
 
 
The item has not been used or even removed from the packaging. It must be returned to us in the original condition.
You return the item within 7 days of receipt.
Please note that opening the packaging of an item will constitute use of that item, as under law it will not then be in a re-saleable condition, and return will be refused on that basis.
Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable in the event of an unwanted items being returned to us.
We cannot be held responsible for lost returns so please ensure you return them via an appropriate courier using a parcel tracking system or offer parcel insurance, as we do not accept any liability until received by us.
Goods should be returned in their original unopened packaging, with adequate protection to ensure that the goods and packaging reach us in good condition.
Refunds will only be issued to the origin of payment and will only be for the value of the goods returned. This excluding carriage to and from the customer, and will only be given for items returned to us in an exact resalable condition as originally shipped. Before a refund is issued, each item will be inspected to ensure its condition is as new and is unused as originally sold.
No refund will be issued for sub-standard goods being returned. Any such item(s) will be stored for a period of 4weeks awaiting the customer uplifting his property. After this time CNS Powertools reserve the right to dispose of the item(s) in the means we deem reasonable and economical.
CNS Powertools reserve the right to refuse refunds on any goods which are seen to be used, not in their original packaging, that are missing items i.e. manuals, accessories and are no longer classed by our specialists as re-saleable as new items.
Where refunds are requested CNS Powertools reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 20%.
Cancellation of an Order
As our customer you have the right to cancel any accepted order placed through CNS Powertools website up to 7 working days from the day after the date the goods were delivered.
If you wish to cancel your order before it is dispatched please notify us at the earliest opportunity by e-mail at dispatch@cnspowertools.com or through our Help Line on 01792 798300, a full and complete refund will be issued within 7 working days.
In the event that goods have already been dispatched from our warehouse and are in transit to the delivery address, we the supplier will be unable to stop the shipment.
In these circumstances please do not unpack the goods.
Please refer to the section “Non-faulty Or Incorrect Goods Received”.
Pricing Structures & Payment Terms
The price for any machine or accessory shown on our website WWW.CNSPOWERTOOLS.COM is the sales price that we initially offer the customer the goods at. This price is subject to additional carriage charges and also value added tax, at the appropriate rate at the time.
There may be exceptions to this standard working practice under the following circumstances:
Every effort is made by us the supplier to offer the best possible and correct prices to you, our customer, at all times on our website. However, with the volume of price fluctuations and stock items we are selling, although it is our best intentions to maintain 100% accuracy of all pricing, errors may occur from time to time. Should it be discovered that this unfortunate situation has arisen at the processing stage of any customer order request; we will endeavor to contact the customer at the earliest possible opportunity and offer them the choice to either proceed with the initial order at the corrected price or offer the customer the opportunity to cancel their order.
Should we be unable to contact the customer to discuss this matter after every possible means of communication between ourselves and the customer have been exhausted, or contact has been established and we receive no decision regarding the corrected price and order status, the order will then be placed into a cancellation procedure which will be classified as cancelled 5 working days after the date of the initial order. If this circumstance arises a full and complete refund including delivery charges will be made within 7 working days of the cancellation.
Completing an order request through our website authorises us, the supplier, to debit the customers specified payment method for the total amount of the order. This includes full payment for the item(s) including carriage charges and V.A.T. at the current rate appropriate at the time.
The total value for the order must be received before any customer order can be accepted and processed through for shipping.
We will only dispatch item(s) to the billing address linked to the payment method provided.
We do not accept any requests for payment over the telephone under any circumstances.
Processing Customer Orders
All orders received before 1.30 p.m. (Monday Friday, excluding bank holidays), will be dispatched on the same day¹. Orders placed over a weekend or on a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next working day.
We will endeavor to dispatch any orders for non-stock items within 5 to 7 working. If there should be any delay we will ensure that the customer is contacted with as accurate an expected delivery time as possible.
We would ask that the customer allow 5 working days before calling to check the progress of an order, due to clearance time schedules through the banking system.
