      A Masterpiece

      A beautifully written novel. Very real characters, absorbing, the pages filled with a full spectrum of human emotions. It touched me deeply, as heartfelt as “Cafe Francaise”, (the latter all the more poignant, because it’s author, who ceaselessly toiled through her handwritten manuscript, was taken away to die in a concentration camp before its completion). Thank you, Mr Zusak, for a very fine read.

      The best book I have ever read (out of 4,500+)!!!

      This is a "heart-growing" book. Mr. Zusak has a way with story telling, and it REALLY comes out in this opus. He builds characters as well as Steinbeck (I have NEVER said that before). The story carries a message we ALL need to hear and, while I wept at the end (I am a Six foot one inch 230 pound man), it was still a very positive book as it taught me so much. I am often asked what to read as I am a Book Seller/Collector and obviously a huge book lover, and I always recommend this book first. Don't get me wrong, there are MANY GREAT books, but this is the "To Kill a Mockingbird" of the 21st century. I buy all the First Editions I can as I KNOW it will be worth thousands someday soon.
