The Seagate 1TB-per-disk technology marks another major milestone for the hard drive industry.     A good replacement for a failing hard disk in a desktop PC

    I purchased a Seagate drive because the one it was to replace was also a Seagate and with the S.M.A.R.T. feature it warned me that the hard disk was failing. This was also evident by the slowness of accessing some items from the disk. The failing disk still allowed me to create an image which was then put onto the new drive. As the new drive is a bit larger I now have an extra drive E: to put stuff on. Quite an easy process all round.

    Perfect match

    This item was purchased to provide a back-up drive and is identical to one already in my PC. I use Goodsync to back up what I want so needed a good quality reliable drive that will work seamlessly every two hours or so. This drive does all that and more. It would also suit a system running a RAID configuration. Very easy to install and format under Windows 10 or any other system. Good kit.

    Does what it says on the tin

    Works really well with my Late 2009 Imac. Also mine has the temp sensor, so the fan doesn't run at full speed all the time like some HDDs
