    Best Ever

    Being a New Mexico girl, we know our Mexican food. We also know our chili powders and for me, Gebhardt Chili is, unquestionably, the best! It has a wonderful flavor, mild heat, and no bitterness. I do not know why it is so difficult to find, but sure am glad I did.

    Great chili powder!

    I bought Gebhardt because of their reputation. I made a pot of chili with a bear roast I had in the freezer and it was the best I ever made! The bear meat was on the smoker with hickory wood for about 4 or 5 hours and I added several kinds of hot pepper from the garden. That could've been a factor. But real good chili nevertheless.

    Liz would be proud

    Found a wonderful chef's chili recipe which apparently was the chili that Liz Taylor craved while on set filming Cleopatra. This particular recipe is the very one cooked up and it required Gebhardt chili powder - no substitutes. The chili turned out delicious - different than most chili recipes made with "regular" chili powder. The recipe requires half of one of these bottles, but if it's flavour your after, you will get it here. It does indeed make all the difference to use this particular chili powder.
