    Processors were bad

    I bought it to update my Mac Pro I disliked it because the machine would not boot with these processors installed. I reinstalled the old processors and it booted up. The processors were bad.

    Экстремальная коллекционка

    Это коллекционный уже процессор. Самый потолок из того, что можно установить в 771 и 775 сокет, с разблокированным множителем и поддерживающий двух-процессорность. Тем, у кого он не заработал, или тем, кто собирается его зачем-то купить, стоит учитывать, что процессор под 400-ю шину (FSB 1600MHz), и, соответственно, чипсет вашей платы должен это понимать. В противном случае, если у вас чипсет максимум под 333 МГц (FSB 1333MHz), то даже если есть возможность разгона, ничего у вас не заработает, материнская плата просто не поймет BSEL этого процессора. Еще, как вариант, можно подделать BSEL 400MHz->333MHz, так получите запуск на частоте 2.66GHz, затем сможете подразогнать или по шине, или по множителю, если конечно материнка и биос это позволяют. Если нет, то вам этот процессор не подойдет. ...
